Frequently Asked Questions

Everything Canadian subscribers ask before and after ordering. If your question is not covered here, our team answers on WhatsApp within minutes via the contact page.

Getting started

Most lines are provisioned automatically and your IBO Player credentials arrive on WhatsApp within ten minutes of payment confirmation. During very high demand it can stretch to an hour. If nothing has arrived after that, message us and we will chase it immediately.

You receive a username, a password and a playlist URL for the IBO Player application, together with a link to our step-by-step setup guide. There is no hardware to buy and nothing to install beyond the free IBO Player app.

No. If you already own a Smart TV, a Fire TV Stick, an Android box, an iPhone, an iPad, a Windows PC or a Mac, you have everything you need. A stable internet connection of at least 25 Mbps is recommended for 4K.

Only the free IBO Player application, which is available in the app store of virtually every modern platform. Our setup guide includes illustrated instructions for each device type.

Plans & billing

The introductory month is CA$10.99 for new subscribers. After that: one month CA$15.99, three months CA$24.99, six months CA$39.99, and twelve months CA$69.99. Full detail is on the pricing page.

Yes, every price is billed in CAD. There is no conversion step and no foreign-transaction fee appearing later on your statement.

No. TVRegal never auto-renews and does not keep a card on file. When your term expires the line simply stops until you choose to renew.

No. Every plan — including the CA$10.99 intro month — carries the identical lineup, the same servers and the same support. Longer terms simply cost less per month.

All sales are final once a line is activated, because access is delivered immediately. Verified outages exceeding 72 consecutive hours and duplicate charges are covered. The full policy is on our refund page.

Using the service

One device per subscription, active at a time. This is a deliberate design choice: capping concurrency is exactly what keeps our servers fast and our picture stable during peak hours.

IBO Player, and only IBO Player. Standardising on one client means our support team knows it inside out and can resolve issues in minutes rather than hours.

Yes. Your line works on any sufficiently fast internet connection anywhere in the world. Some individual channels carry geographic restrictions imposed by the content owner.

We recommend 25 Mbps for 4K, 12 Mbps for Full HD and 6 Mbps for HD. A wired Ethernet connection is always more stable than Wi-Fi for a main television.

Usually local bandwidth contention rather than the stream itself. Switch the TV to Ethernet, close other heavy downloads, and try the alternate feed for that channel. If it persists, tell support which channel and we will investigate the source.

Yes. Full EPG data, typically seven days forward, populates automatically in IBO Player once your playlist is loaded.
